Have you checked out the 2019 Provisional Pertussis Report from the CDC?
There were 15,662 reported cases of pertussis (whooping cough) in the United States for the year 2019.
According to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) there were 3,975 reported injuries during the same time frame from the vaccines that are used for pertussis. The 3,975number does not account for the seriously lack of reporting that we deal with in regards to vaccine injuries. According to this study LESS than 1% of vaccine injuries are reported. Using the 1% figure that means that we are looking at 397,500+ injuries from the pertussis vaccines compared to 15,662 cases in the same year, which means a person is much more likely to be injured by the vaccine than they are to even get pertussis in the United States.
According to the data from the CDC children ages 6 months to 6 years who had completed the DTaP vaccine series were more likely to get pertussis than those were not vaccinated for pertussis at all.
Of those 15,662 reported cases in 2019 there were 9 reported deaths from pertussis. According to VAERS for the year 2019 in the United States 21 people died from the vaccine. Again this is not accounting for that under 1% are reported. Using the 1% figure we are looking at 2,100+ deaths from the vaccine compared to 9 deaths from the disease.
Personally I would much rather take the risk of getting pertussis than the risk of getting the pertussis vaccine. What about you?

Thanks for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do some research on this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such fantastic info being shared freely out there.
